In the sandbox, demo group A Company Pte Ltd runs Division One, Two, and Three with per-division isolation. Supervisors see only their division; the group CEO sees consolidated payroll and leave across all three.
Office staff: geofence + dynamic QR check-in. Field sales: GPS field check-in with supervisor review — zero attendance blind spots.
Employee request • Superior acknowledge • Manager approve, plus withdraw-and-reapprove flows. Approved leave links to payroll deductions automatically.
Configurable late-arrival deductions, Sunday / PH multiplier (2.0×), PR progressive CPF, staff loan recovery, and cloud CPF rate sync — nothing to re-deploy when government tables change.
Automatically detect payroll anomalies, track overtime variances, and forecast next month’s total labour spend before month-end closes. Keep group leadership ahead of shifting headcount costs.
Five configurable overtime modes mapped to Employment Act Part IV: statutory OT for workmen (≤ S$4,500) and non-workmen (≤ S$2,600); optional goodwill OT for above-threshold staff with the calculation basis fixed at S$2,600 or S$4,500; no-OT for exempt PMEs; and manual / negotiated. MOM thresholds are configurable parameters — when policy changes, you update a setting, not your payroll.
Configurable to your policy and current MOM Part IV thresholds. MeritHRMS is compliance tooling, not legal advice.
Overtime and leave that straddle two months are split by calendar month and computed on each month’s actual working days, then itemised on the correct month’s payslip — mirroring MOM’s incomplete-month-of-work method. Paid leave is excluded from deductions; unpaid leave is prorated per month. Each employee profile binds both an overtime mode and a leave mode.
Sample payslip (sandbox demo data)
Cross-month items (e.g. 28 May–3 Jun leave) are split automatically: 2 days on May’s payslip, 3 days on June’s.

Office staff check in via geofence and dynamic QR codes; field sales staff use GPS field check-in with supervisor review. Late arrivals can trigger configurable payroll deductions, and Sunday or public-holiday work applies a 2.0× pay multiplier.
Under Singapore’s Employment Act Part IV, overtime pay is mandatory for non-workmen earning ≤ S$2,600 and workmen earning ≤ S$4,500 in basic monthly salary. Above those thresholds, OT is not legally required — but if your company chooses to extend it, MeritHRMS can pay OT with the calculation basis fixed at S$2,600 or S$4,500. Thresholds are configurable, so the system adapts when MOM updates the rules. This is configurable tooling, not legal advice. MeritHRMS splits any cross-month overtime or leave by calendar month. Each month’s portion is calculated on that month’s actual working days and itemised on that month’s payslip — for example, leave from 28 May to 3 June appears as 2 days on the May payslip and 3 days on the June payslip. This keeps each entity’s monthly cost accounting accurate and aligns with MOM’s incomplete-month-of-work salary method. Paid leave is excluded from deductions; unpaid leave is prorated per month.
